The global solar industry is reaching a critical stage where innovation must align with long-term environmental responsibility. We are pleased to announce that Fraunhofer and CEA, two of Europe’s leading research organizations, will lead the upcoming SOLARIS Workshop. This event is a key meeting point for professionals and researchers focused on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and the circular economy within the solar value chain.
Strategic insights into PV Life Cycle Assessment and ADEME tenders
Throughout this expert-led workshop, we will explore the most pressing challenges in the industry today. The program includes deep dives into the latest LCA and environmental assessment results from the EU SOLARIS project, updates on the French PV tender (ADEME) landscape, and specialized certification processes with Certisolis.
Innovation in End-of-Life (EoL) and solar panel recycling
In addition to technical hardware, the workshop addresses the “S” in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Experts from the Becquerel Institute and the Global Electronics Council will lead sessions on Social LCA, social equity, and EPEAT reliability standards. The day will conclude with a strategic panel discussion featuring industry leaders from across the PV value chain—from manufacturing to O&M.
